Winchester Meat Processing, Inc.

While there WERE Vegeterian colonies in Kansas at the turn of the century, they weren't in Winchester.

Jason Noll, a common last name in this area, took over while his folks were vacationing.  They process deer for hunters, and beef and pork commercially.  Their classic interior features heavy-duty freezers and lockers, some vintage kitsch, and the wonderful smell of cured meat.

The Jalapeno Cheese Summer Sausage comes highly recommended, as we only got 10 miles down the road before tearing into the package.
